Moreno Top ACL Pitcher in August Friday, September 1st, 2023 Jesús Moreno hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning Alexander Cartwright League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In August the Buzzard's Bay starter earned a 4-2 mark in 7 starts. He threw 47.2 innings, struck out 48 and compiled a solid 2.83 ERA. In 23 starts this year Moreno has fashioned a 8-7 record and a 4.81 ERA. |
