Mun-cheol Ong Hurt, Out of Action Tuesday, August 15th, 2023 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against San Antonio Storm Troopers, Outlaws reliever Mun-cheol Ong was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 8-9 months with a torn rotator cuff. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Ottawa skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. Season-to-date, Ong has rung up no saves in 14 relief appearances. He has 14 strikeouts and 14 walks in 20 innings while registering a 5.40 ERA and a 0-0 won-lost record. |
