Wells Wins FFL Player of the Week Trophy Monday, August 14th, 2023 It was announced today by the Ford Frick League that Sandy Springs right fielder Tim Wells had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. During his week-long batting binge he reeled off a .536 batting average, 15 hits and 5 home runs. Wells also racked up 18 RBIs and scored 11 runs. This year Wells is batting .365 with 25 home runs and 121 RBIs. In 99 games he has scored 88 times. |
