Xie-li Chio Hurt, Out of Action Tuesday, June 6th, 2023 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Xie-li Chio of the Bulldogs knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Newark Jail Birds while running the bases. Because of a broken kneecap, the Spokane shortstop is expected to miss 7-8 months. Chio was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen."
