ACL Presents Batter of Month Trophy to Afilhado Thursday, June 1st, 2023 Roberto Afilhado has a lot going for him. The Jacksonville first baseman just broke into the majors this year and now the Alexander Cartwright League has just picked him as its top hitter for May. In 29 games last month, this outstanding rookie batted .394 with 3 home runs, 32 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Thus far this year Afilhado is batting .396 with 6 home runs, 45 RBIs and 36 runs scored. |
