But Bernardo Rodríguez did just that today for the Rams and gave his batting average a healthy boost and sparked his club in the win. "I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 22-year-old shortstop said after his record-setting performance. Bernardo Rodríguez singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, hit a three-run double in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
