He is one tough out. Fortunately things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a 4-3 win. But Carpenter still continued his streak." The Beetlecats catcher now has hit safely in his last 20 games. He was 1-3 in today's contest. Kelly Carpenter grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and was hit by a pitch in the 9th. This year Carpenter is batting .295 with 162 hits and 10 home runs.
