Newark-Bird-in-Hand Fight Results in Suspensions Friday, August 26th, 2022 Yesterday at Cobras Ballpark Peter Kelly and Chang-lit Ba lost their tempers and now they will have a few days off to cool down. The league office has suspended Newark's Peter Kelly and Bird-in-Hand's Chang-lit Ba for 8 games for fighting. The suspensions are scheduled to go into effect today. In his season totals Kelly has 3 home runs and a .277 batting average. This season Ba has chalked up no saves, notched a 3-2 record with a 4.59 ERA, allowed 63 hits in his 68.2 innings of work, struck out 57 and walked 44. Opponents are hitting .249 against the Bird-in-Hand hurler. |
