3-HR Dream Game for Bagadion Monday, August 8th, 2022 Going... Going... Gone! Amador Bagadion did it three times in the San Antonio-New York game at The Clone Army. Three home runs in one game -- but his team lost -- the Ninjas outscored the Storm Troopers 17-6. "Gosh, it's a shame we didn't win this game. I get my name in the record book, but we lose the game." For the day the San Antonio left fielder went 3-4 against New York with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting. "I was in a groove," he said, "and every pitch they tossed up there looked like a basketball." Commenting after the game to the press, the semi-elated Bagadion explained, "I tell you what, I was surprised because I didn't think the last ball had enough to get out. I thought it was just going to be a long out." Amador Bagadion hit a two-run home run off Paulus van Zundert in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Paulus van Zundert in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Mang Sun in the 9th. For the year Bagadion is batting .275 with 15 home runs, 50 RBIs and 45 runs scored. |
