Flores Wins FFL Best Player Award Monday, August 1st, 2022 25-year-old Wilson Flores made a few Boise headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Ford Frick League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 20 at-bats to put up a .550 average. Flores collected 4 home runs, 11 RBIs and scored 10 runs. So far this year Flores is batting .302 with 15 home runs. |
