Injury Forces Zachary Palethorpe Out
Monday, July 25th, 2022
Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Carson City Mustang, Lights center fielder Zachary Palethorpe was injured colliding with a player at a base and is expected to miss 4-5 months with torn ankle ligaments. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Phoenix skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow.
This season Palethorpe has hit 6 home runs and posted a .322 batting average.
