Red-Hot Maxwell ACL Player of the Week Monday, July 25th, 2022 The Alexander Cartwright League has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Woodrow Maxwell, left fielder of the Asheville Tourists. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .464 pace to win the award. Maxwell went 13-28 for the week, totaled 5 home runs, 11 RBIs and scored 10 times. Thus far in 2022 Maxwell is hitting .336 with 22 home runs, 59 RBIs, 51 runs scored and has compiled a .423 OBP. |
