FFL Awards Best Batter Prize to Banks Monday, July 18th, 2022 So far in his young career, Rick Banks has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Ford Frick League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Wichita Wolverines third baseman hit at a torrid .467 clip as he collected 7 hits in 15 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Thus far this year Banks is hitting .268 with 22 home runs, 65 RBIs and 62 runs scored. |
