ACL Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, July 4th, 2022 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Alexander Cartwright League, but last week Avirama Swani of the Newark Jail Birds reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Swani rocked opposing pitching for a .444 average (12-27), 2 home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. In 74 games this year Swani has posted a .254 average and put up these numbers: 6 home runs, 43 RBIs and 57 runs scored. |
