FFL's Best Player Named Monday, May 23rd, 2022 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Ford Frick League, but last week Júlio Ruíz of the San Antonio Storm Troopers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Ruíz rocked opposing pitching for a .379 average (11-29), 5 home runs and 15 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this season Ruíz is hitting .379 with 5 home runs, 15 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has 11 hits in 29 at-bats and a .441 OBP. |
