Super Week for Asheville's Mills! Monday, May 16th, 2022 26-year-old Dave Mills made a few Asheville headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Alexander Cartwright League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 26 at-bats to put up a .462 average. Mills collected 3 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 7 runs. This year Mills has hit at a .310 clip with 23 RBIs, 4 home runs and 39 runs scored. |
