ACL Player of the Week Awarded Monday, May 9th, 2022 Jim Wood burst onto the Alexander Cartwright League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie left fielder for Asheville garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 26-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .355 (11-31) with 4 home runs and 11 RBIs last week. So far this season Wood has gotten 49 hits in 127 at-bats for a .386 batting average with 16 home runs. His stats include 49 RBIs and 41 runs scored. He has played in 31 games. |
