5-6 Day for Beauregard Saturday, April 30th, 2022 Who needs batting practice? Lee Beauregard of Long Island apparently doesn't as he battered Boise with a 5-hit outburst in today's game to lead his club to a 9-7 win. He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. Wow, this was really something... a 5 for 6 day... will my name be in the record books now?" Lee Beauregard flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 10th. Currently Beauregard is batting .339 with 19 hits and 3 home runs. He has knocked in 14 runs and scored 10 times. |
