ACL's Top Player Named Monday, April 25th, 2022 Edgardo Gómez burst onto the Alexander Cartwright League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie center fielder for Jacksonville garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 24-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .500 (10-20) with 2 home runs and 13 RBIs last week. This year Gómez is hitting .422, produced 17 RBIs and 3 home runs, scored 20 times and gotten on base at a .471 rate. |
