Drug Test Positive, League Suspends García 80 Games
Monday, March 28th, 2022
While the league's regimen of drug testing has made good progress in eradicating steroids from the game of baseball, occasionally someone gets caught in the net. Lake of the Isles Wolves reliever Michael García became the latest to receive a suspension. The Commissioner's Office press release said García tested positive for a banned performance-enhancing substance in violation of league rules.
García, who will miss 80 games, refused to comment.
