Bad News for Beetlecats, Moyer Injured Thursday, September 23rd, 2021 Buzzard's Bay starting pitcher Michael Moyer left today's game with a torn back muscle. The injury looked like it occurred throwing a pitch in the game against Ottawa. One fan said, "As soon as it happened, you could tell something was wrong." The injury will likely leave the Beetlecats without Moyer for about 4-5 months. For the season Moyer has logged 5 wins and 5 losses and struck out 89 batters in 107 innings while compiling a 3.87 ERA. |
