The San Antonio first baseman just broke into the majors this year and now the Ford Frick League has just picked him as its top hitter for July. In 26 games last month, this outstanding rookie batted .364 with 6 home runs, 16 RBIs and 23 runs scored. For the season Swanson has produced 96 hits in 284 at-bats for a .338 average with 24 home runs and gotten on base at a .471 clip. |
