Hit Streak Now at 31 for Vedant Friday, July 16th, 2021 Everyone in Riverside is getting excited about Vihaan Vedant's hitting streak. The 20-year-old left fielder extended it today to 31 games with 1 hit against Jacksonville. The Red Bulls took the Hellcats 12-8. Vihaan Vedant struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, walked in the 6th and flied out in the 7th. This year Vedant is hitting .340, produced 91 RBIs and 14 home runs, scored 87 times and gotten on base at a .410 rate. |
