Subandrio Sizzles -- Smokes Beetlecats for 5 Hits Friday, June 25th, 2021 It seemed that Cincinnati shortstop Buwono Subandrio could do no wrong as the Snaps kayoed the Beetlecats 12-8 today as he rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Buzzard's Bay pitchers couldn't get him out as Subandrio seemed to know which pitches they were throwing. "I think the Snaps were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Buzzard's Bay fan. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Subandrio in the postgame press interview. Buwono Subandrio walked in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. In his season totals Subandrio has 2 home runs and a .265 batting average. |
