Rosales Slaps 5 Hits Wednesday, September 27th, 2023 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Rubén Rosales. It was a very special day, one that many players never experience. But he did. Rosales went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Pasadena pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond at The Coal Mine, he had a career 5-5 day and something he will long remember. And the Antioch Coal Miners had a 15-3 victory over the Bumblebees. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Rubén Rosales singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th and singled in the 6th. Looking at his season stats, Rosales has compiled a .306 batting average and a .381 on-base percentage, while hitting 6 home runs and driving in 65 runs. |
