Wells Selected Player of the Week Monday, September 11th, 2023 27-year-old Matt Wells made a few Billings headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Blake Camden League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 34 at-bats to put up a .353 average. Wells collected 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Wells is hitting .300 in 2023 with 121 RBIs and 29 home runs. |
