Brock Goes 5-6 Against Coronado Saturday, August 26th, 2023 "It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what El Paso catcher Billy Brock said to BNN reporters after his fantastic 5-6 day against the Coronado Phantoms at Phantoms Field. "I got some good counts and used the whole field." The Diablos had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 12-9. Billy Brock hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and struck out in the 8th. In this current campaign Brock is hitting at a .307 clip with 3 home runs and 19 RBIs. |
