Baristas End Butler's Streak Saturday, April 29th, 2023 Ralph Butler's 22-game hitting streak has now come and gone. It was snapped today in the Diablos 5-2 setback to the Baristas. Butler went without a hit in 4 trips to the plate. Talking to BNN after the game he was visibly upset. But the streak had little to do with it. "I'm disappointed we lost, I'm not one bit disappointed that the streak ended," Butler said. "The hitting streak was just one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep tonight." This season Butler is batting .430 with 7 home runs. |
