Franklin Keeps Hit Streak Alive Sunday, April 16th, 2023 Fans around the league are beginning to get interested in the Coal Miners 29-year-old third baseman Mike Franklin. What is drawing all the attention is his 20-game hitting streak. Franklin extended it again in today's game with the Canadians with 1 hit. But it wasn't enough. Vancouver won the game 13-9. Mike Franklin grounded out in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. On the year Franklin is hitting .364 with 20 hits, no home runs, 11 RBIs, .439 OBP and has scored 11 runs. |
