Bronx's Carpentier Out 3-4 Weeks Saturday, April 15th, 2023 Disappointing news today for Bronx Bombers fans. Eddy Carpentier was hurt running the bases in their game against the Joplin Fireballs and has plantar fascitis. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return but said it was likely the injury will keep the second baseman out at least 3-4 weeks. On the season, Carpentier is batting .295 with 2 home runs and 11 RBIs. He has played in 12 games. |
