Sapthotharan Premier Pitcher in September Saturday, October 1st, 2022 In September, Ashwini Sapthotharan tore through the Kade Stenson League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 22 years old. The young Albuquerque starter posted a 5-0 mark and an ERA of 2.92 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 37 innings he collected 32 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .189 average. In 18 starts this season, Sapthotharan has picked up 10 wins while suffering 2 losses. He has pitched 124.1 innings, allowed 102 hits, struck out 99 and posted a 3.33 ERA. |
