BCL Awards Player of the Week Monday, September 26th, 2022 The Player of the Week has been announced by the Blake Camden League. The honor went to Bobby Yates, first baseman of the Joplin Fireballs. He burned up the league with a .522 average to win the award. Yates went 12-23 for the week, totaled 2 home runs with 8 RBIs and scored 4 times. Thus far this season Yates is hitting .316 with 24 home runs, 93 RBIs and 79 runs scored. He has 154 hits in 488 at-bats and has played in 134 games. |
