BCL #1 Pitcher in August is Joplin's Tuttle Thursday, September 1st, 2022 Whether Eugene Tuttle stays in Joplin beyond this season remains to be seen, but while he's here he's making the most of it. In August the 34-year-old certainly pulled out all the stops by winning the Blake Camden League Pitcher of the Month award. He put up some fancy numbers with a 5-0 record and and an ERA of 1.67. In 43 innings he struck out 37, surrendered 25 hits, 22 walks and proved to be a solid performer in 6 starts last month. On the year Tuttle has worked 74.2 innings with 70 strikeouts en route to a 7-4 record and 3.38 ERA. |
