Big Bat Pays Off, Ogura Player of the Week Monday, August 8th, 2022 It was some kind of week for Nobukazu Ogura of the Antioch Coal Miners. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .381 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Blake Camden League. Last week Ogura went 8-21, chalked up 4 home runs and 13 RBIs and scored 5 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. On the year Ogura is hitting .295 with 104 hits, 21 home runs, 93 RBIs, .385 OBP and has scored 59 runs. |
