Hit Streak Now at 25 for Guerra Sunday, August 7th, 2022 Indian Wells's Pedro Guerra was 3-4 in the Aeropostales 5-2 victory over the Winston Unionists. That stretched his hitting streak to 25 games. In the clubhouse after the win, the 29-year-old Guerra told reporters, "I'm in a groove right now, and I am trying to stay there by doing the same things over and over again. If I change something, it might bring me bad luck." Pedro Guerra singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 6th and singled in the 7th. Thus far this season in 27 games Guerra is batting .446 with 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has 37 hits in 83 at-bats. |
