Death Stars Chill Morin's Hot Streak Friday, July 22nd, 2022 The Fireballs lost to Detroit today by the score of 8-4 at The Death Star, but the bigger story was the end of a hit streak. Joplin center fielder Claude Morin was working on a 23-game hitting streak, but went 0-for-2 against the Death Stars as the hot stretch came to an end. So far this season Morin is hitting .327 with 10 home runs, 29 RBIs and 39 runs scored. He has 55 hits in 168 at-bats and a .392 OBP. |
