Week's Best Player Honored by BCL Monday, June 27th, 2022 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Blake Camden League, but last week Lee Collier of the Joplin Fireballs reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Collier rocked opposing pitching for a .478 average (11-23), 5 home runs and 13 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Collier has socked 64 hits in 192 at-bats for a .333 average with 15 home runs. He is getting on base at a .340 pace and his totals also include 54 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |
