Players Suspended in Freedom-Bombers Donnybrook Friday, May 13th, 2022 Tempers were flaring yesterday at The Bell. Both the Freedom and Bombers were defending their turf. A few punches were thrown, but fortunately very few landed -- there was more wrestling than fighting. When the umpires sorted everything out, Philadelphia's Kazuhiro Morita and Bronx's Yohann Bosler were ejected from the game. Today the league office suspended Morita and Bosler for 5 games each. This season Morita is batting .192 with 17 RBIs, 16 runs scored and 6 home runs. This year Bosler has fashioned a 1-2 mark, 4.20 ERA and pitched 30 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .298 against him and he has logged 23 strikeouts. |
