Durham's Pejemsky Out 4-5 Months
Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022
The Durham Bulls learned that Vadim Pejemsky is likely to be out for 4-5 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Mdewanketon Sabercats. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be bone chips in his elbow. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Durham manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Vadim is back in action."

Up to now Pejemsky has compiled an ERA of 6.75 with a 2-3 mark over 6 starts. He has 18 strikeouts in 33.1 innings and has held opponents to a .268 batting average.
