BCL Player of the Week Goes to Watson of Reno Monday, May 2nd, 2022 At the age of 26, Dave Watson might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Reno first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .478 batting average. For his efforts Watson collected the Blake Camden League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs and 9 RBIs last week in 6 games. Watson on the season is hitting .292 with 5 home runs. His stats include 19 RBIs and 15 runs scored. |
