Patrick 5-7 Against Pasadena Saturday, April 9th, 2022 Detroit right fielder Michael Patrick could do no wrong in today's 18-10 win over the Bumblebees as he collected 5 hits. "In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Bumblebees said to the press corps after the game. Patrick agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Michael Patrick singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Edgardo Félix in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Patrick is currently batting .571 with 1 home run and 7 RBIs. |
