Bad News for Astoria, Bård Tengesdal Hurt Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 Earlier today, Astoria right fielder Bård Tengesdal had to leave the game against Reno because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a ruptured medial collateral ligament and will miss 8-9 months of play. Tengesdal was hurt running the bases and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. To date this year Tengesdal is batting .259 with 15 home runs. |
