Torres Spins No-Hitter Against Chicago Friday, September 17th, 2021 In a brilliant performance at The War Dome, Vancouver pitcher Ángelo Torres entered an elite group today by tossing a no-hitter against the Chicago Titans. Hurling a complete game he fanned 14 and walked 6 in the 9-0 victory. In the clubhouse, Torres said, "I was getting my off-speed stuff over so they couldn't sit on the fastball. My guys made some nice plays behind me, too, and cut off several hits." This season Torres has a 7-12 record with a 4.56 ERA. |
