Jewers's Hit Streak Over Sunday, July 18th, 2021 The Arsenal lost to Albuquerque today by the score of 7-2 at Cruz Bay Park, but the bigger story was the end of a hit streak. South Bay right fielder Lawrence Jewers was working on a 21-game hitting streak, but went 0-for-3 against the Cacti as the hot stretch came to an end. So far this year Jewers is hitting .372 with 8 home runs. |
