"He really did a job on us," said the Philadelphia manager. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and pretty much confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us." Kishita said, "Everything was working for me. Throwing my breaking stuff over the plate was big." He finished the game with 9 strikeouts and 2 walks in a solid outing. Checking out his stats for the season, Kishita has notched 3 wins and 4 losses in 11 starts, 6.02 ERA and struck out 49 batters in 61.1 innings. |
