BCL Announces Player of the Week Monday, May 31st, 2021 26-year-old Kazuhiro Morita made a few Philadelphia headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Blake Camden League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 9 hits in 17 at-bats to put up a .529 average. Morita collected 8 home runs, 17 RBIs and scored 11 runs. Looking at his present stats, Morita has compiled a .529 batting average in 5 games with a .680 on-base percentage, while hitting 8 home runs and driving in 17 runs. |
