Jong-min Kim Jr. Picked RCL's Best Player Thursday, November 9th, 2023 The manager of the So Cal Republic said he thinks Jong-min Kim Jr. is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 21, but it will be hard to top the third baseman's 2023 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Roberto Clemente League Silver Slugger Award. His winning campaign featured a .305 batting average and a .364 on-base percentage this year. In 161 games he piled up 199 hits, 29 doubles, 10 triples, 53 home runs, 141 RBIs and 131 runs scored. Kiyonobu Yamasaki of the Duke City Danger finished second in voting, while Steve McGowan of the Manhattan Beach Patriots finished third. |
