Winters Hits .402 for Kansas City Monday, October 2nd, 2023 What a year it was for Kansas City Tornadoes right fielder Matt Winters, who had to fight the pressure all season long. Few players manage to attain the elite status of a .400 batting average, but Winters kept his focus the entire season and ended it with a fabulous .402 average. Winters totaled 262 hits, 37 doubles, 8 triples, 12 home runs, 123 RBIs and 122 runs scored. "It was an amazing year," Winters said during a press conference today. "It doesn't get any better than this." |
