Roberto Clemente League Names Rookie of Month Sunday, October 1st, 2023 Youngster Doug White emerged as the latest Roberto Clemente League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from New York deserved the honor, batting .400 with 10 home runs and 29 runs batted in. Is the month of September a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let White enjoy the limelight. On the year White has hit .337 with 43 home runs, 133 RBIs and scored 117 runs. |
