RCL's Premier Starter is Hardy Sunday, October 1st, 2023 There's something about a young rookie winning the Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Joe Hardy, a 21-year-old starter for the Pax River Psychos. In September, he topped off the month with a 4-0 mark and 1.44 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 43.2 innings, fanned 43 and held opposing teams to a .170 average. This season Hardy has registered 7 wins and 1 loss in 14 starts with a 2.46 ERA. |
